JOHN JOSEPH KENNEDY WON THE PRESTIGIOUS honor of being invited to Harvard University’s creative writing program his junior year in college, based on his first short story, Chad Jarman is Forty Today. Mr. Kennedy worked as a journalist for The Daily Law Journal/Journal Record (currently owned by the New York Times) and freelanced for Beverly Hills People. He also worked as a print and runway fashion model for Neiman Marcus, GQ, Façade of New York, Ltd., Ralph Lauren/Polo, Armani, Oxxford Suits, etc.

MR. KENNEDY DRAWS FROM his wealth of life experiences and unique family heritage for creating the social, historical and political background for Prince D’Arcy de Montebello; this is the first in a series of mystery novels. The author is a descendant of ancient French and Spanish royalty and a member of the aristocratic D’Arcy and Kennedy bloodlines. He is the great-great grandson of John D'Arcy Kennedy (Ancient French House of D’Arcy; of direct royal descent of King Charlemagne, Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire); and Caroline Marguerite de Rodriques Kennedy (de Rodriques lineage of Caracas, Venezuela). He is the great grandson of Charleston, South Carolina statesman and philanthropist, Congressman Michael Francis Kennedy Sr. Congressman Kennedy was the first of the Kennedy family in American politics, serving two terms in South Carolina’s House of Representatives from 1882-1886. President John Fitzgerald Kennedy’s branch of the family are distant cousins.

(National Association of Television Program Executives) and Who’s Who of International Professionals (top ten percent in the world). He is also a motivational speaker, published songwriter and poet.
